SQL Server DBA

We are looking for a SQL Server DBA who wants to be part of a unique, challenging and exciting opportunity. A qualified candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency and general working knowledge in information technology functions. They will perform database implementation, configuration and administration activities. This individual will work and must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a team based environment.

· Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server database server environments (SQL 2000/2005).
· Perform daily administration of database systems to prevent outages and optimize system resources.
· Migrate database changes between environments to support our release schedule.
· Provide emergency coverage for database problems.
· Automate database related activities.
· Identify and implement changes needed for database stability and optimization.
· Administering 24x7 production databases.
. Implement and Administer our Disaster Recovery Model.
. Working knowledge of Windows 2003.

· Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years in a DBA role
· SQL Server certification a plus.
· Knowledge of database backup and restore procedures.
· SQL LiteSpeed experience a plus.
· DTS/SSIS package programming a plus
· Knowledge of batch programming and command line execution
