Business Systems Analyst

Position: Business Systems Analyst
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Warrenville, IL 60555

Description: -

• Must have 5+ years gathering requirements and systems analysis experience

• 3 years experience in data analysis, data modeling, SQL, user interface design, use case diagrams and Microsoft Office tools

• Requirements gathering, application analysis, design and testing for sales & marketing type applications in a .NET web environment.

• Experience in using Microsoft product suite, including Visio. Web-based user interface design experience

• Good understanding of the following web-based technologies: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, XSL, CSS, IIS, MTS, and ASP and the .NET framework

• The candidate should have a good background and understanding of web-based technologies utilizing complex relational databases.

• Past IT experience, strong analytical skills and knowledge of web technologies are requirements for this position.

• Preferred candidates will have project management experience and background in mainframe systems.

• Ability to translate business requirements into functional system design, identifying application integration points and system process flows

• Must work with minimal direction - taking concept to analysis, preparing appropriate design specifications, and participating in testing and post-implementation activities

• Good understanding of mainframe (IBM S390) systems and technologies
