Business Objects Developer

Duration: 8 months +
Work Description:
The candidate should understand database design principles and business requirements to conduct source system analysis and configure optimal Business Objects universe to add dimension and measure objects to a universe; demonstrate the ability to create complex universe objects and functions including aggregate awareness, row level security and multiple contexts; effectively and efficiently resolve any data and performance issues at the report, universe and database level. The candidate should also understand Window 2003 server and Business Objects/Crystal (CMC) administration and must be very knowledgeable of universe migration, user maintenance, server/hardware infrastructure, and environment tuning.
Technical Skill set needed.
- Strong database design skills including denormalization and data warehouse design
- Excellent Universe and report development skills
- Advanced SQL skills
- Structured troubleshooting skills
- Report performance tuning experience
- Prior experience with Business Objects/Crystal CMC administration
- Prior experience with universe migration, server/hardware infrastructure and environment tuning
- Business Objects XI R2 (Import Wizard, Designer, Web Intelligence, Dashboard Manager, Xcelcius)
- Crystal Enterprise/Reports (version 10 and XI)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 RDBMS
- Teradata v2 R6
